How often should I have my eyes tested?
You should plan to see your optometrist once a year, even if you don’t currently need corrective eyewear. These preventive visits can help you continue having healthy eyes and optimal vision.
Do I need a prescription for contact lenses?
Yes, contact lenses are medical devices, so it is necessary to have a prescription. Following your eye examination, our optometrist will provide you with a prescription which includes helping you find the right fit for your needs.
What happens during my appointment?
Our optometrist will test your vision to determine if you require glasses, check for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.
What is a cataract?
A cataract is the clouding of the lens of the eye. Most cataracts develop over time or due to age and can cause blurry vision.
